Rashi Times

Hi Rashi House and all readers

Hoping you have all had a fantastic week and a nice welcome back to our Year 7 and 8s who were very much missed in our House Assembly (we especially missed all their spirit).

Congratulations

The Swimming Carnival was a great success, with Rashi coming 2nd place, only 3 points away from first place!

Congratulations to Jared Elbourne breaking 2 records and lots of participation and cheers from the stands. We are so proud of all the students in Rashi who participated and recognise the amazing effort of our Rashi age champions: Jett Sher, Aaron Lemberg, Jared Elbourne, Benjamin Marx and Joshua Amoils.

Goal setting in House Assembly

Last week in Rashi House assembly we all set some goals. We watched a lovely and motivational video from our favourite speaker – Kid President. Everyone was told to write down their goals which they would like to achieve by the end of the year, and at the end of the Semester 2 they would receive thought sheets and reflect on what they have achieved. We believe that this is an important activity to do and we definitely recommend everyone to just take a few minutes out of their day to set some goals. Whether it’s academic, wellness and even a goal for someone else, it is a great way to be able to vision all the things you would like to get done, making it more achievable.

Shabbat Shalom and have a great weekend!!
