A big warm Emanuel welcome back to our Emanuel families old and new!
As we land into the 2023 school year, and Emanuel School’s 40th year, we look forward to it being a beautiful one, celebrating our community.
I’m personally looking forward to the mix of P&F initiatives planned that include some old favourites and some new ones. In coming weeks we will share a form where parents can register to volunteer at our range of events. It’s a great way to make friends, have fun and make your kids proud!

Term 1 Friday Challah
Don’t miss out on getting your Jesse’s Bakery challah from school each week (starting Friday 10 February 2023). It’s only $5 per week and is super convenient as your child can collect it each Friday between 3.00 pm – 3.45 pm from the walkway above the basketball courts.

Friday Challah volunteers
We are always looking for volunteers to hand out challah on a Friday afternoon between 3.00 pm and 3.45 pm. It is such a lovely way to connect with our School and your children. Please contact Sharon if you can help.
Year Group gatherings
Many Year Groups have caught up for picnics over the past week giving families a great opportunity to establish connections within their Year cohort. If yours is coming up, it’s well worth the effort to go along. Details will be shared via your Year’s WhatsApp groups.
Staff welcome lunch
It’s always a tradition that we welcome our incredible teachers and staff back with a P&F sponsored Welcome Lunch. The lunch, held on Monday, was catered by our wonderful canteen, who provided nourishing and delicious food for all. Thank you so much to Yaffa and her team for co-ordinating this for us.
New P&F Treasurer
This year we welcome Lisa Strous into the role of Treasurer. Lisa has been involved in P&F for many years so we are thrilled to see her step into a bigger role this year. Lisa has two children at the School (Tali in Year 5 and Kayla in Year 7) as well as being an Emanuel aluma. Thank you to Lisa for stepping into this role for 2023.

- Friday 31 March 2023: Primary Community Kabbalat Shabbat from 8.20 am – 8.50 am
