Unwell at school

If your child is feeling unwell during the school day they are required to let a staff member know and present to the Health Centre to be assessed by our nurses.

There are many students currently contacting parents and arranging their own way home and parents emailing the High School absence email address. We ask you to not collude with this process and ask your child to go to be assessed by the nurse, so that we can ensure we are appropriately managing the health and wellbeing of each student.

If the nurse deems a student to be too unwell to remain at school, the parents will be called to arrange pick-up of their child.
